Foundation e-Learning Programme
The Foundation e-Learning Programme is a free and innovative e-learning resource designed specifically to support the Foundation Curriculum.
It is the official e-learning resource for Foundation training and is approved by the UKFPO and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges.
Topics covered include:
• Patient Care
• Safeguarding Children and Young People
• Safe Prescribing
• Equality and Diversity
• Workplace based assessment tools including mini CEX, CbD, MSF and DOPS
With new sessions added on a regular basis the e-learning uses high quality graphics, video, animation and interactive exercises. Each session of e-learning takes around 20 minutes to complete to fit in with busy schedules and can be used as a reference tool, to revisit topics to refresh learning, to prepare for formal education sessions and to fill in those knowledge gaps. Click here to take a look at a sample session.
When each e-learning course is completed trainees can use the self-reporting tool to produce a certificate which can then be added to their Portfolio.
