National Foundation Trainee Presentation Day: Thursday 3 February 2011
On Friday 10 February 2012, Severn Foundation School hosted a day of foundation doctor presentations, at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust Education Centre, Bristol from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Poster and oral presentations were given by foundation doctors from around the UK and were judged by the UKFPO. A list of winners and runners up for each category can be found below, along with all of the successful abstracts:
Oral
Winner: Dr Daniel Hill / Miss Jennifer O'Neill / Mr David Oliver (Surgical smoke - a health hazard in the operating theatre. A study to quantify exposure and a survey of the use of smoke extractor systems in the UK Plastic Surgery Units)
