2. The methods used to address the problem (including a description of the intervention(s), target population, comparison (if applicable, and outcome measures)
3. The results – are they important?
4. Dissemination – how could this be applied in other settings/what lesson have been learnt.

To submit your abstract please complete the abstract form, and return to by Monday 1st September 2014.

UKFPO/NACT UK JOint Sharing Good Practice: Thursday 5 March 2015

The next Joint Foundation Programme Sharing Good Practice Event takes place on Thursday 5th March 2015 at the London Marriott Hotel, Marble Arch.

In recent years, this meeting has received an overwhelming number of abstracts from foundation doctors. Whilst it is excellent to see trainees engaged and keen to showcase examples of innovation in their area, recent feedback has called for a rebalance of the conference’s target audience and for greater contribution from members of the educational faculty.

Therefore, we are particularly interested in receiving abstract submissions from:

  • Clinical supervisors
  • Trainers
  • Educational supervisors
  • Academic supervisors
  • Foundation training programme directors/tutors
  • Postgraduate Deans.

Foundation doctors are still welcome to submit abstracts, but the number chosen to participate in the conference will be limited.

This is an opportunity to present various aspects of the Foundation Programme, to enable sharing ideas, materials etc. and learning from others.  All involved in the Foundation Programme, in any capacity, are welcome.

You are invited to submit abstracts about any innovations/developments or good practice in any area of the Foundation Programme.  This includes research, audit and quality improvement.  The deadline for abstracts is 5 p.m. Friday 28th  November 2014.  You will be notified of our decision by Friday 12th December.
