Academic Foundation Programmes

The Academic Foundation Programme provides a fabulous opportunity for foundation doctors to develop research, teaching and leadership/management skills in addition to the competences outlined in the Foundation Programme Curriculum. Anyone with an interest in one or all of these areas should browse the academic pages of this website for further information.

Below is a welcome and introduction from Professor Stuart Carney, UKFPO deputy national director and lead for the Academic Foundation Programme.
