Bringing together information provided by the UK's foundation schools, the report is presented in four sections:
- Foundation schools
- Delivering foundation training
- Progression and outcomes
- Recruitment
Information specifically relating to the Academic Foundation Programme is included in an appendix.
Thanks to data collection improvements by deaneries and foundation schools, there has been a significant increase in the amount of data suitable for inclusion this year. Comparisons with 2009's Annual Report have been included where possible.
