The Rough Guide to the Foundation Programme now available.

The new edition of the Rough Guide to the Foundation Programme is now available.
This handy guide gives final year medical students and F1 doctors a rough idea of what to expect during their first two years working in the health service. It covers everything from applying for assessment to portfolios and placements; along with help and advice if things don't go quite as planned.
First hand accounts from foundation doctors themselves give an honest picture of life as a new doctor. There are also tips on the best way to approach assessment, including collecting evidence for the e-portfolio.
The Rough Guide can be downloaded now by following this link Rough Guide to the Foundation Programme.
We’ve also printed a limited number of hard copies which will be distributed free of charge on a first come/ first served basis. Request your copy by writing to enquiries@foundationprogramme.nhs.uk with your name, job title, organisation and postal address. Please note that there is a limit of two copies per individual.
