Medical Education Research Secondment Opportunity at UKFPO

Are you, or do you know, a Registrar who would benefit from a three-month medical education research secondment?

The UK Foundation Programme Office is seeking a secondee to work with them to collate and review the evaluation data that currently exists in relation to the Foundation Programme. 

This temporary role is required to:

a) Identify and collate Foundation Programme evaluation data which already exist at foundation school level; and
b) Produce a summary report outlining what is available, with a high level analysis of the findings.

Principle Duties:

Identify and collate FP evaluation data
• Visit foundation schools across the UK as required.
• If appropriate, develop and implement a survey.
• Gather examples of relevant data from the foundation schools.

Produce a summary report
• Analyse the evaluation data collected.
• Produce a report to summarise the data available and the outcome of the analysis.
• Make recommendations regarding what additional evaluation data would be useful to help inform opinion of the added value of the Foundation Programme.
