Medical Careers website update

”How can I work abroad?” is a common question from medical students and foundation doctors. The UK Medical Careers website (www.medicalcareers.nhs.uk) now has a comprehensive section on this common query: http://www.medicalcareers.nhs.uk/postgraduate_doctors/medical_training_abroad.aspx. Also available to view from the site's homepage is a new video in which recently-qualified GP Hannah Lambert talks about her reasons for choosing general practice, and describes a typical day in the life of a GP. The site also has a full list of careers events which can be found on: http://www.medicalcareers.nhs.uk/career_planning/career_exploration/medical_careers_events_calend.aspx. If you are planning any careers events in your Foundation School or local Medical Schools these can be added to this website by following the contact details on the site.
