GMC Registration Changes

From 1 August 2007, it is no longer a requirement for GMC registration to have surgical and medical attachments.
Changes to the Medical Act 1983 (Amendment) and Miscellaneous Amendments Order 2006 mean that provisions prescribing experience in medicine and surgery are no longer in place. This was done by repealing Section 10 to 13 of the Medical Act and replacing them by New Section 10A of the Act.
