Foundation e-Portfolio Version 2 Coming Soon

Following the roll out of Foundation e-Portfolio to 10 Deaneries last year across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, Version 2 will be available from Summer 2008.
e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) will be providing training and support to Deaneries and Foundation Schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to enable them to cascade information to administrators, educational supervisors, F1 and F2 trainees.
Although e-LfH will be offering training and support, the e-Portfolio product is developed by NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and access will be available online via the NES website www.nhseportfolios.org.
First line support will be provided by Deanery Administrators, who will be able to answer local queries. More complex queries can be forwarded via Administrators to the e-LfH helpdesk at e-portfoliosupport@e-lfh.org.uk.
Training materials including a video and user guides for each different type of user are currently being developed and made available to Deaneries, these can be viewed on the e-LfH website www.e-lfh.org.uk.
e-LfH will also be bringing some exciting e-learning of their own to Foundation trainees across the NHS, covering a range of induction support and work force development areas (Safe Prescribing, Infection Control) all free of charge. Sessions are designed and built to be engaging and interactive, using quality imagery, video, audio and animation to enhance learning. For more information go to www.e-lfh.org.uk
