F1 GMC Registration Procedure - IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION

A recent UKFPO e-update and website Latest News item regarding the procedure for GMC registration by F1 doctors may require clarification.
In particular, sign-off for F1 varies according to local policy and may not always be by a medical school dean.
As a result of these local variations, F1 doctors are strongly advised to check with their relevant local contact for more information on the correct procedure to follow in their area. Click here for more details.
Also, F1 trainees receive one 5.1 Attainment of Competency form at the end of their F1 year and not one at the end of each post as was stated.
